About Ehren

Ehren J. Brav is a corporate attorney based in Seattle. His legal practice focuses on corporate and transactional law for small- to mid-size tech companies, including corporation and LLC formations, founder agreements, seed and venture financing, equity plans, services agreements, corporate governance, and M&A. He also has expertise in software licensing and compliance, particularly with regard to open source software.

Ehren was previously a Director of Business Development at the Invention Science Fund (ISF), the venture-focused part of Intellectual Ventures where he worked on the creation of spin-out companies. Ehren founded and led the OmniWear Haptics team at ISF, which created wearable tactile interfaces for VR and AR applications.

Before ISF, Ehren founded and led the LegalTech company GreenLine Legal to create machine learning software to analyze contracts and SEC filings. Prior to GreenLine, Ehren was an associate in the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where his practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, and securities.

Ehren obtained his JD from Harvard Law School, his MA from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and his BA from Tufts University, where he majored in Physics, Mathematics and Political Science. He was also a Fulbright Fellow to Nigeria. Ehren enjoys mountaineering and instructs with the Seattle Mountaineers, is an avid SCUBA diver, and is a private pilot as well.

About Caitlin

Caitlin A. Harrington is a practicing internal medicine physician and attorney based in Seattle. Caitlin specializes in advising healthcare institutions on their harm event response and has extensive expertise designing communication and resolution programs. Drawing on her experience in both the medical and legal worlds, she is able to guide clients through the steps necessary to create a highly reliable communication and resolution program that centers upon the principles of empathy, respect, and transparency.

Caitlin feels strongly that communication and resolution programs are the way of the future and she is involved in both institutional and policy efforts to encourage their adoption around the country.

Prior to medical school, Caitlin practiced corporate law at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. At the time, her legal practice focused on sovereign debt restructuring, private equity, and banking regulation.

Caitlin obtained both her MD and her JD from the University of Washington and her undergraduate degree from Harvard. She completed her internal medicine residency from the University of Washington and has been certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is also a fellow of the American College of Legal Medicine.

Outside of work, you can find Caitlin in the mountains where she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, trail running, and skiing.
